Broncos Waive LB Mike Mohamed

The Broncos made a roster move on Monday, as the team has waived linebacker Mike Mohamed, a 2011 sixth-round pick out of California.

The club has brought back tight end Virgil Green back to the active roster.

Mohamed was signed last week after linebacker Joe Mays was suspended for his hit on Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. Mohamed played in two games in 2011 and played on special teams for Sunday’s 37-6 win over the Raiders.

If he clears waivers, he’ll go to the Broncos practice squad.
