Broncos Add Linebackers

The Broncos signed free-agent linebacker William Kershaw yesterday, and claimed former Colt linebacker Brandon Archer off waivers.  They also cut wideout Carlton Brewster, and put left tackle Matt Lepsis on the “retired” list. 

Season End Press Conference Scrapped Till Thursday

Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan postponed yesterday’s postseason post-mortem until Thursday.  It should be an eventful press conference after a 7-and-9 season.  Tackle Matt Lepsis has already retired and wideout Javon Walker seems bent on a trade that’ll get him out of town.

Shanahan Wraps Season at Presser Today

Bronco coach Mike Shanahan may offer some hints about the team’s future when he wraps up the season at a press conference today.  Since the team ended the year at 7-and-9, tackle Matt Lepsis retired and wide receiver Javon Walker all but demanded a trade.
