Whenever their false narratives and predictions get exposed, they try to “move on” with new false prophecies. It’s not about whether their predictions turn out to be right or wrong (anyone can make a prediction and be right half the time). It’s about false bravado in which they pretend they know better than anyone.

The truth is: they’ve gone out on a limb making predictions about the future, rather than let things play out and make sound analysis on the basis of fact (which is what a real analyst would). And whenever the results don’t mesh with their predictions, they throw out the results and rationalize why their original hypothesis was correct.

“Moving the goalposts”, “Strawmen” and “Red Herrings” are ultimately the tactics of con-artists trying to keep the limb from being sawn out from underneath them.

The media likes to pretend that Tebow’s religious beliefs are heracy (maybe they are in post-modern America). But when it comes to the rigid, self-serving dogma and self-righteous sanctimony of the elite, people like Pat Kirwan take the cake.

Last week, the Jets were going to crush Tebow. Until “the Broncos defense won”.

The week before, the Chiefs were going to expose Tebow. Until “the Chief’s offense sputtered”.

The week before that, the Raiders were going to continue to embarrass Tebow. Until “Willis Mcgahee beat the Raiders”

The week before that, the Lions were poised to “devour Tebow”. When they did 45-10, “Tebow is exposed”. The Broncos (and their defense) had nothing to do with the loss to Detroit. It was all Tebow’s fault. Over. End of discussion. Get him out of here.

And to wit, Tebow willingly accepted the blame.

But I think I see the pattern here from these so-called “experts”.

And as stupid as these “experts” think we are, we’re just not willing to play along.
