There was never anything conventional about Bill Belichick’s approach or any other brilliant football mind for that matter. If all the outsiders were so smart, they would be running NFL franchises. Give McDaniels a chance.

Personally i think McDaniels will do fine in his first season and keeping his job with Denver for a second season and have a big part in turning around this playoff deprived team. I don’t doubt his ability one bit, for example he helped coach one of the best NFL franchise’s (New England Patriots), and yes i do know its not all about the coach, but if he can get all his players heads on track such as Brandon Marshall then i think the Broncos have a good chance of being a strong playoff team in years to come.

I say the new coach has at least three years like every other coach gets in the league to turn things around. I think he’ll get the Broncos back to respectability and more. People in Broncoland have been lulled by the Shanahan years of pretty consistent 10 win type of seasons so they’ve been content. Well I was tired of Shanny’s bad decisions and I feel McDaniels has a much better hold on what it takes to succeed in today’s NFL. shanny was a product of the Bill Walsh 49ers west coast offense. It’s a good scheme but people have figured it out. That’s why shanny hasn’t won a superbowl since 1998. The Patriots rule and McDaniels is a Mastermind of the Patriots offense and organizational philosophies and I say wait until year three efore you go crazy.

I can’t believe that you are saying the dumb things that you just said John. You call them crybabies, but they both have legitimate beefs and neither situation has been handled very well so far. Now we are supposed to start over without our best 2 players and with a bum quarterback and no defense. Yea we don’t need him or Cutler lol………..you can’t be very bright!

Trade him to Arizona for Anquan Boldin. Or send him to Detroit or the rams where we could get multiple picks for him and he can watch his career rot. 1st Cutler now him. I’m tired of these 2006 Denver draft class cry babies. Denver almost went to the Superbowl in 2005. 2006 rolls along and they draft Cutler and Marshal and the Broncos have stunk since. Trade him we don’t need the loser.
