Through 5 days of Camp

The Broncos have been through 5 days of camp and they got a rest day today. They have been working really hard, so they really do deserve it.

On Offense, only time will tell. All three QBs have been showing well. It probably is Sanchez’s to lose. Siemer has been showing well in first time to compete for the starting job. Lynch is developing fastly, so as of now, it is still a three horse competion, and probably won’t be decided until the Preseason games. I think it will play out that Sanchez will start the season, but Paxton will be given a great opportunity to overtake him sometime in the season. And Sieman, if we are lucky enough that he clears waivers will return to the Practice Squad, It is unlikely he does, because his performance so far has perked up other teams interest in him. If it works like this, the Broncos could trade him and get decent value. And then they might probably bring another veteran QB in.

As for the skilled players, DeMaryious is committed to get his concentration back to decrease the droppage problem he had last season. And he and Emmanuel are 2 great tools for whoever QB plays. And the race for 3-6 is very deep. All returnees from last year will return, but Jason Taylor and Kalil Raymond have shown very well, and Raymond may get a great shot to make the roster as a returner and a slot player. At RB, there is very good backage. C.J. is certainly going to return as the #1 position. Booker will probably get the #2 slot, with Harmon returning as the speed option. But Kapri Bibbs will probably pressure him for the #3 slot. Juwan Thompson may make the team with a three role of backup FB and RB where Andy will get the starting slot at FB. And Thompson has good experience as a Special Teams player. At TE, we return Virgil Green and veteran Garrett Graham and Jeff Huerman may develop into a great tool for our Offense. And they may play a lot of 2 TE plays and all block well.

And the OL is still working hard to work as a unit. But they are all familiar with Zone Blocking, so they just need to get cohesive. And I think they will get it together in the PreSeason games and actually be a Offensive strength, instead of a weakness at times last year. Sambailor hurt his shoulder but will only miss a few Camp days. So all in all, we should have an improved Offense compared to last season.

On Defense, they are working hard to be even better than last years. Peko has been showing very well at the NT, pushing Williams for playing time and will probably be in the DL rotation. And Shaqille Barrett and Shane Ray have shown they will be invaluable backups at OLB. Ware is stll uncertain to get in playing shape for the seasons start, so they could step in and play for him if that happens. And the absence of Trevathon will not be felt very much because they play about 80 % in nickel and dime packages, so only 1 LB plays in those formations and that LB is Brandon Marshall. And we have at least three shutdown CBs with potentially 4 with Kayvon Webster’s strong showing thus far. So they do have the potential to be be one of the best, if not the best Defenses ever in NFL history.

Rest well today, Broncos and then return and work hard and smart. You definitely have a great chance to win back to back Super Bowls, just like the Elway and TD led ’97& ’98 teams did. So Go, Go, Broncos and take Broncos Country on a Magic Carpetride Season again!!! We are United in Orange!!!

Do you actually know the names of any of the Broncos! Pretty sloppy

It’ll be interesting to see who gets the nod as QB.
