Week 10 Recap

The St Louis Rams (3-6) lost their Week 10 match up against the 8-1 Arizona Cardinals.  After the loss, Jeff Fisher made an unexpected announcement, stating that he would be replacing his starting quarterback for the game against Denver.  The Rams will look to rebound against the 7-2 Denver Broncos at home.

The Denver Broncos made easy work out of the Oakland Raiders.  The Broncos improved to 7-2 on the season while handing the Raiders their 9th straight loss of the 2014 campaign.  Peyton Manning threw 5 touchdown passes while accumulating 340 passing yards on 31 of 44 passing.

Week 11 Prediction Points

  1. Peyton Manning + Dome = Lots of Points.  I expect Denver to come out firing on all cylinders on offense and make easy work of the struggling St Louis Rams.
  2. Denver is establishing a running game, and it almost doesn’t matter who is doing the ball carrying.  Last week against the Raiders, CJ Anderson ran for 90 yards on just 13 carries.  Ronnie Hillman returned to action but only mustered up 13 yards on 6 carries.  Look for another breakout performance from Anderson, and don’t be surprised if Juwan Thompson gets red zone and 3rd down duties.
  3. Julius Thomas has only 38 catches this season.  The amazing stat here is that 12 of his 38 receptions have been touchdowns.  Add in top 5 ranked receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, and you have a dangerous three headed monster.  This offense will once again prove to be too much for their opponent to handle.  I see an easy road win for the Broncos here in week 10.

Final Score Prediction

St. Louis Rams –  23

Denver Broncos – 41

Bonus Prediction – Peyton Manning throws 5 touchdowns with at least one going to DT, JT and Sanders.
