New NFLPA agreement

Just saw Josh Gordon’s suspension has been reduced to 10 weeks so he will be suspended for 8 more games after this weekends game. Though it didn’t mention any other players, no doubt Wes Welker, Sean Prater and two others in the NFL will be available for this weekends game if teams are willing to play them. With the relatively short time off, why not, especially because Welker knows the system very well and God forbid he doesn’t get hit in the noggin again. As for Prater, he has been kicking on a high school field. If they want to wait on him until the Seattle game it would be okay. Brandon has done a pretty good job, but say if it comes down to a 50+ yd. FG to win the game, I would rather have Prater kicking it. And that may be vastly more likely in the Seahawk game rather than this game against the Cheifs. On the other hand, they may want to give him regular season reps this week to get his feet under him more for the trip to Seattle. Anyway, we no doubt will hear more later tonight and tomorrow if they are playing or not Sunday! I had a good feeling that the agreement might well be signed today!
