Bailey Says He Wants To Be Back In 2014

Super Bowl XLVIII - Seattle Seahawks v Denver Broncos

Champ Bailey came up short in his quest to win a ring in his first Super Bowl.

Bailey had been considering retirement but wants to play again in 2014. “I’m not done playing football,” Bailey told Matt Walks of the Denver Post. “So I feel like I’m going to give myself another shot next year.”

Last week, Bailey was asked if he would consider moving to safety, a position traditionally a retirement home for cornerbacks but said, “I’m not going to move anywhere anytime soon.”

Sunday night, Bailey had a different answer when asked the same question.

“If it makes sense,” Bailey said. “It’s something I’d definitely look into.”

Keep in mind Bailey is owed $10 million next year by the Broncos which they are unlikely to pay.
