Broncos Tickets the Cheapest of the Year this Week vs. Jaguars

The Denver Broncos host the Jacksonville Jaguars for a Week 6 game featuring two teams at opposite ends of the football spectrum. The Broncos are undefeated and look like the best team in the NFL, while the Jaguars have yet to win a game and have struggled on offense, defense and special teams. Broncos tickets are averaging $222.34 for this game, a 16% decrease over the past week. Tickets for this game start at $78, the lowest starting price for Denver’s five remaining home games.  The questions is, what type of game are fans paying for?

Peyton Manning alone might be worth the price of admission. Manning is on pace for the best season of his career with 20 touchdowns and only one interception through the first five games. Manning is completing a stellar 75.8% of his passes and averaging 9.5 yards per attempt. The Broncos have yet to score less than 37 points in a game this season and Jacksonville has only one game of allowing their opponent to score less than 28 points, which doesn’t bode well for the Jaguars. Chad Henne is starting for Jacksonville, which has been an improvement over Blaine Gabbert this season, but the Jaguars haven’t scored more than 20 points in a game this season regardless of who the quarterback is.

If the Broncos jump out to an early lead, chances are most of the starters will get to rest during the second half.  Manning has never been one to remove himself from the game early, but the coaching staff may want to avoid potential injuries by resting the starters if it gets out of hand early.  So while Broncos tickets may be cheap for this week’s game, be forewarned that this could be a blowout early.
