Fox Says That Orton Still Gives Team Best Shot to Win

John Fox insists he remains confident in quarterback Kyle Orton. “Right now, in our opinion, Kyle gives us the best chance to win,” Fox said Monday. Orton has gotten off to a very poor start this season, averaging just 224 yards while completing only 57.3 percent of his passes.

His 6.11 YPA is 26th in the league, and he’s clearly not the same player without former OC Josh McDaniels orchestrating the offense. Fox and Broncos’ vice president John Elway may not be the ones responsible for using a first-round pick on Tim Tebow, but at a certain point they need to see what he’s got.

We’ve gone from bad to worse. A 1970’s, wore out dud of a coach and a sleepy, neck-bearded dud of a QB. The rest is plain average. This team has zero energy or pizzaz.
We used to demand more from our team, now it’s just hope for an 8-8 record…jeesh

I agree completely with Cuda. It’s sad how un-exiting and boring this team is right now. Tebow needs to be put in now. He may turn out to not be the guy, but he needs a CHANCE, Orton has had his and sucks, plain and simple, give Tebow a chance he may just amaze everyone.

I think Fox should have a talk with Orton about getting some rest- Orton is on the field like a zombie ever since his daughter was born
