Broncos Getting Employees Ready for a Lockout

The Broncos understand a work stoppage in the NFL is a real possibility and they have let their employees know so according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

Team president Joe Ellis recently conducted a staff meeting in which he informed employees about the possible ramifications in the event of a labor impasse between the NFL and its players.

“Specifics of our operations in the event that a collective bargaining agreement isn’t reached by March 4 are internal and have been communicated clearly to every employee,” said Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth. “We’re moving forward with our preparations for the 2011 season and are hopeful that the labor situation is resolved as soon as possible.”
