Broncos Land Just One in the Pro Bowl

For the first time in a long time, just one Bronco will be in the Pro Bowl, as the NFL announced the rosters Tuesday night. Making the team for Denver is the Broncos top receiver, Brandon Lloyd. Lloyd leads the NFL with 1,375 receiving yards on 72 catches. His 10 touchdown receptions are tied for fifth in the league.

Having one Pro Bowler is the fewest for the Broncos since 1988 when only punter Mike Horan was awarded.

While playing for San Francisco, Washington, Chicago and in only two games for the Broncos last season, Lloyd’s previous career bests were 48 catches, 733 yards and 6 touchdowns.
