Josh McDaniels’ Job Safe Till at Least After 2011

The Denver Post reports that despite last years collapse, head coach Josh McDaniels will not be going anywhere till at least after the 2011 season:

Providing there are no extenuating circumstances, Broncos Josh McDaniels — who is entering the second season of a four-year contract — should have this season and 2011 to reach the playoffs. One playoff appearance in either of those two years and he coaches out his contract, maybe even gets an extension prior to 2012. If he doesn’t make the playoffs in either of the next two years, then I doubt the future potential of Tim Tebow can save McDaniels.
