OT Ryan Harris Slowly Returning From Toe Injury

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that right tackle Ryan Harris is still working his way back from his toe injury, but it’s taking quite awhile:

Broncos right tackle Ryan Harris is still working his way back from a toe injury that limited him to eight games last season. He returned to practice in June, but he isn’t going through competitive drills. “When it initially happened, I expected to be back the next week,” Harris said. “It’s been a long road, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel now.” Broncos coach Josh McDaniels was cautious when talking about the possibility of Harris practicing without limitations in training camp. “I’m hoping he’ll be full go, but I’m not going to put a specific day or timetable on that,” McDaniels said. “The trainers and doctors and his body will tell us if he’s be ready to go. He’s doing very well with what he’s been able to participate with so far.” Harris said he and the team have a mutual goal to be fully healthy for training camp in late July. He’s looking forward to proving he can rebound to his previous form. “I don’t think anybody in this camp is more excited for training camp than I am,” Harris said.
