Kicker Prater the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month

Broncos kicker Matt Prater, who has made seven of nine field goal attempts this month, including three of at least 40 yards, will be named the AFC’s special teams player of the month for September. He also leads the AFC in touchbacks on kickoffs with seven as well as kickoffs to reach the endzone with 13. With his 50-yard field goal in Cincinnati he is now 6-of-7 on career field goal attempts from at least 50 yards.
