The Broncos on the first day of free agency signed of all things – a long snapper. The team came to terms with free-agent long snapper Loin Paxton, snapping him away from the Patriots.
Paxton agreed a five-year deal worth $5.3 million, according to the Denver Post. That makes him the second-highest paid long snapper in the game.
Josh McDaniels, the Broncos’ new head coach, previously was an assistant with New England, for which Paxton played nine seasons and won three Super Bowl rings.
