WR Marshall Pleads Guilty to Reduced Charge
Posted by Matt Loede on September 13th, 2008 filed in News, Police Blotter
Wide out Brandon Marshall will be back on the field this weekend, but yesterday he pled guilty to a reduced charge in a drunken driving case. By doing that, he avoids jail time. Marshall will pay $1,100 in fees and fines and will likely be required to serve 24 hours of community service and attend alcohol-treatment classes and a victim-impact panel. If he would have been convicted of a DUI, he could have faced five days up to a year in jail. Back on the field vs the Chargers this week, Marshall will add even more of spark to the Broncos passing game. He’s Jay Cutler’s favorite wide out, and last season had 102 catches for 1325 yards and 7 TD’s.
