Posted in ESPN is reporting that former wide out Rod Smith may stay on with the team as a consultant. The team has approached him about becoming the wide out coach back in February, but he turned down that role. Smith was basically forced to retire earlier this year due to injuries and was placed on the reserve/retired list. No word on if he’ll accpet the consultant role or not.
