Bronco Darrent Williams Remembered

A seven-foot, 400-pound statue of murdered Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams made its debut yesterday at the Boys and Girls Club in Montbello.  It stands in front of a new teen center that opens a week from today, bearing Williams’ name.  Kids can drop by and play sports, do homework, or just hang out.  Fellow defensive back Domonique Foxworth says it’s a fitting tribute.  Drive-by shooters killed Williams on New Year’s Day last year at Eleventh and Speer Boulevard.  The case is still unsolved.
