Broncos Open Quarterback Camp

It’s called “quarterback camp”, but all 89 of the Broncos will spend the next several days working out at Dove Valley.  It’s quarterback Jay Cutler’s first chance to practice since he found out he had diabetes.  Head coach Mike Shanahan says insulin treatments and a better diet have helped Cutler gain almost 30 pounds and regain his energy.

Running back Travis Henry missed yesterday’s session with a pulled hamstring.  Receiver Brandon Marshall was there, running routes but not catching the ball.  He’s recovering from a gashed forearm.  Marshall says it happened March 22nd when he was horsing around with family, slipped, and put his hand through a TV screen.  He’s about a month away from being able to take throws.
