Elam’s Agent Denies Talk of His Client Retiring

There has been a lot of talk about Broncos long-time kicker Jason Elam talking about retiring since there seems to be no big takers for him on the open market.  In today’s Rocky Moutain News, Elam’s agent is denying that report, stating that even at 37 years old, his client still has plenty left in his leg.  The paper reports that Elam and the Broncos are not close on a new deal, and at one point there was talk that the Falcons would have interest, but so far that has yet to happen.  The agent did say though that Elam will visit some teams this week.
