Broncos offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger is leaving Denver to take the same job with the Tennessee Titans. The “Rocky Mountain News” says the announcement could come by the end of the week. Just yesterday, Denver gave Heimerdinger permission to talk to the Titans. He’d coached there for five years before coming to the Broncos. Possible replacements include former Broncos assistant Karl Dorrell, recently fired as head coach at UCLA. Defensive coordinator Jim Bates also quit the Broncos after a 7-and-9 season.
