The Broncos hope to bounce back from an embarrassing loss at Detroit when they travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the AFC West rival Chiefs in Kansas City.  Denver got drilled 44-7 by the Lions last weekend at Ford Field.  The Broncos lost in overtime the week before to the Packers and, at 3-and-5, have fallen below .500 at the midway point of a season for the first time since 1999.  Quarterback Jay Cutler suffered a bruised leg, but hopes to play against KC.  The Chiefs suffered a 33-21 home setback to Green Bay last Sunday to fall to 4-and-4.  Despite that, Kansas City remains tied with San Diego atop the division.  Running back Larry Johnson has an injured right foot and could be sidelined for an extended period.
