Bronco wideout Rod Smith practiced yesterday for the first time all season.  He’s been on the “physically unable to perform” list, after hip surgery in February.  Smith got a big hand from his teammates, but still seemed to be limping.  The Broncos have until November 14th to put Smith on the active roster.  Otherwise, he goes on injured reserve and his season is over  –  which, at age 37, could end his career.
