Broncos reserve safety Sam Brandon has been suspended for two games after a pair of domestic violence arrests.  The offense is for a violation of the leagues personal conduct policy.  Brandon was arrested in 2004 and 2005 according to the Denver Post.  He will appeal the suspension, and if unsuccessful, he will forfeit $76,470 of his base salary of $650,000.

The 28-year-old plays mostly in the teams “big nickel” defense, and currently is trying to come back after tearing his right ACL last November in a win vs the Steelers.  The injury took place when he collieded with teammate d-lineman Demetrin Veal.  Brandon was a 4th round pick of the Broncos in the 2002 draft.  He has a career mark of 127 tackles, one int, 13 passes defensed, and three fumbles recovered.  He has 12 career starts.
